1. Setup Google Tag Manager account

(if you already have Google Tag Manager account, go to the step #2)

Setup an account at the Google Tag Manager website

You will be asked to create a container, which is a collection of tags for a website. You can use your domain where tags are going to be used as a name for your container.

2. Install the Google Tag Manager Code with Videoly tag

Copy the JS code from a separate link that you have received from us. We call it the Videoly-tag. The code should look like this:

- Do not copy this code below - it is just for reference -

<script>
(function(d, e, n){
e = d.createElement(‘script’);
e.type = ‘text/javascript’;
e.async = true;
e.src = ‘//api.videoly.co/1/quchbox/0/263/quch.js‘;
n = d.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0];
n.parentNode.insertBefore(e, n);
})(document);
</script>

Choose the Google tags container which you have for your site

Then open Tags-section and click New to add new tag

For Tag Configuration choose “Custom HTML“

Paste the Videoly-tag into HTML-field. As a triggering option choose DOM Ready.

And click Save button.

3. Almost done

Now you can see Videoly in the list of tags

Create the next version of your container clicking Create Submit button.

When submitting changes, GTM will ask if you want to Publish it to the production environment. You should also add a name for this version and description - these attributes may be helpful to recall the purpose of this tag in future. Choose option "Publish and Create Version" and click on Publish-button.

4. Congratulations, Videoly is installed!
